VIRTUAL ASEAN DATA SCIENCE EXPLORERS 2020 NATIONAL FINAL

PUTRAJAYA, 7 September 2020: The Chief Executive Officer of IYRES, Dr. Vellapandian Ponnusamy during his session this morning as one of the Judging Panel for Virtual ASEAN Data Science Explorers 2020 National Final representing Senior Officials Meeting on Youth (SOMY) Malaysia.

This competition calls for data-driven proposals, targeting tertiary students across the 10 ASEAN Member States, to develop solutions towards ASEAN growth and development to improve people’s lives. Therefore, they are judged on the best all-rounded concept such as the ability to demonstrate the implementation of solution to the six selected United Nations Sustainable Development Goals:

1. Good health and well-being,
2. Quality education,
3. Gender equality,
4. Decent work and economic growth,
5. Industry, innovation and infrastructure,
6. Sustainable cities and communities
